Presentations, Beer Festivals and more – Thu 27th & Fri 28th Jun

On Thursday 27th Jun, at 8pm we will be making the Pub of the Season Presentation to the the Riverhead, Marsden, HD7 6BR (map) on the opening day of their 3 day Beer Festival. Catch the 19:30 train from Huddersfield Railway Station

Then, we will return to Huddersfield by train to the Trade Launch of the new expanded shop at HDM Beer Shop, 28-30 Wood St Huddersfield, HD1 1DU (map).

On Friday 28th Jun, at 8pm, we will be making the  Club of the Year Presentation to Marsh Liberal Club, New Hey Road, HD3 4AL (map) on the opening day of their 2 day Beer Festival. Catch the 19:42 372 First Bus from stand W4 on Westgate.

Marsh Meander & Mild Club Presentation on Monday 23rd July

On Monday 23rd July 2012 at 7:30pm, we will be doing a “Marsh “Meander – a pub crawl of Marsh.

We will start at 7:30pm at the Junction, Westbourne Road, HD1 4LA (map). Then..

  • 8pm Marsh Club, Abb St, HD1 4PB (map)
  • 8:30pm, Croppers Arms, Westbourne Rd, HD1 4LF (map)
  • 9pm, Marsh Liberal Club, New Hey Road, HD3 4AL (map), where we will also be making the Mild Club of the Year Presentation

Mild Club of the Year 2011 Presentation & an Independent Brewery crawl around Huddersfield

On Friday 1st July 2011 at 8pm,  we will be making the Mild Club of the Year 2011 Presentation to Marsh Liberal Club, Marsh, Huddersfield, HD3 4AL (map).

This coincides with the first day of their two day Beer Festival.

On Monday 4th July 2011 at 7:30pm, we will be having a crawl around Huddersfield town centre to see how many independent brewery beers we can manage.

We will meet Slubbers Arms, Hillhouse, HD1 6HW (map) at 7:30pm. Then we will move on to the Sportsman, Kings Head, Cherry Tree & finish at Grove approx 10pm.

Also, on Saturday & Sunday this weekend it is the Monkeyfest 5 Beer Festival at Armitage Bridge Monkey Club, Dean Brook Road, Armitage Bridge, HD4 7PB (map).

Branch Meeting at Marsh Liberal Club

Our next Branch Meeting will be at Marsh Liberal Club, Marsh, Huddersfield, HD3 4AL (map) at 8pm on Monday 27th September 2010.

We will also be presenting the award for Mild Club of the Year 2010.

The new Autumn issue of Aletalk will be available for collection, and the new Good Beer Guide 2011 will also be on sale.

Branch Meeting and Two Beer Festivals

Our next Branch Meeting will be held at the Carniceria, Holmfirth, HD9 2DN (map) on Monday 21st June 2010 at 8pm.

There is a Beer Festival at the Navigation, Mirfield starting on Thursday 17th June and running until Sunday 20th June.

Also, from Friday 25th June to Sat 26th June, there will be a Beer Festival at Marsh Liberal Club, Marsh, Huddersfield, HD3 4AL (map). Opening hours are Fri 25th June 4:30–11;  Sat 26th June 12-11. Admission is free, there will be 15 real ales and there is a free half for CAMRA members!
