Catch the 19.48 TransPennine Express from Huddersfield to Mirfield arr 19.56 (if it fails there is a 20.03 Northern train).
Catch the 22.16 TransPennine Express or 22.23 Northern back (taking approx 11 mins each).
Note that cheaper fares are now available for travelling on TransPennine trains only (£2.20 return) as opposed to any train (£3.50 return).

There is a Beer Festival at the Navigation, Mirfield starting on Thursday 17th June and running until Sunday 20th June.
Also, from Friday 25th June to Sat 26th June, there will be a Beer Festival at Marsh Liberal Club, Marsh, Huddersfield, HD3 4AL (map). Opening hours are Fri 25th June 4:30–11; Sat 26th June 12-11. Admission is free, there will be 15 real ales and there is a free half for CAMRA members!
