We will be doing a Holmfirth Crawl on Wednesday 31st August 2011 at 7:30pm.

We will meet at the Rose & Crown (Nook), Holmfirth, HD9 2DN (map) at 7:30pm.

We will then move on to the Carniceria at 8:15pm. Then on to Hervey’s, Old Bridge and Box Office.

We will be having a social day out on a Rail Crawl of the Penistone Line on Saturday 13th August 2011. We will be taking the train to Sheffield and then stop off at various stations on the way back to Huddersfield

Huddersfield Food & Drink Festival in St George’s Square, Huddersfield has begun and runs until Sunday 14th August 2011. It is one of Yorkshire’s largest free food and drink festivals. Amongst the exhibitors are Elland Brewery, Little Valley Brewery, Natural Cider Company, King’s Head, Nook Brewhouse, Sportsman, Star. More details here .

There is a Beer Festival at the Foxglove, 6a Penistone Road, Kirkburton, Huddersfield, HD8 0PQ (map) from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th August. 20 beers will be available.

Huddersfield Food & Drink Festival Real Ale Trail

Taking in some of Huddersfield’s finest pubs, this trail is a must for fans of real ale. Buy a pint or half in eight or more of the participating pubs and swap your stamped card for a limited edition t-shirt at the festival.

Double Presentation on Saturday, Social on Sunday

On Saturday 23rd Jul7 2010, at 6pm there will be a double presentation at the Rat & Ratchet, Chapel Hill, Huddersfield, HD1 3EB (map). We will be presenting the Yorkshire Cider Pub 2011 (runner up) and Huddersfield Mild Pub of the Year 2011 awards.

On Sunday 24th July we will be having a Marsden afternoon crawl. Meet at the Railway, 34 Station Road, Marsden, HD7 6DH (map) at 1pm if you want to eat at the Railway before the crawl, or 2pm if you just want to do the crawl.

We will then move on to Puleside WMC, Conservative Club, Swan, Liberal Club & Riverhead.

Trains from Huddersfield Rail Station at 12:37 or 13:37. First Buses from Huddersfield Bus Station – 182 at 15 minutes past the hour, 185 at 50 minutes past the hour.

Mild Club of the Year 2011 Presentation & an Independent Brewery crawl around Huddersfield

On Friday 1st July 2011 at 8pm,  we will be making the Mild Club of the Year 2011 Presentation to Marsh Liberal Club, Marsh, Huddersfield, HD3 4AL (map).

This coincides with the first day of their two day Beer Festival.

On Monday 4th July 2011 at 7:30pm, we will be having a crawl around Huddersfield town centre to see how many independent brewery beers we can manage.

We will meet Slubbers Arms, Hillhouse, HD1 6HW (map) at 7:30pm. Then we will move on to the Sportsman, Kings Head, Cherry Tree & finish at Grove approx 10pm.
