Beer Festival Sub Committee Meeting at The Slubbers Arms

Our next Beer Festival Sub Committee Meeting will be held at the Slubbers Arms, Hillhouse, HD1 6HW (map) at 8pm on Thursday 31st of May 2012.

If you would like to get involved with the organisation of Huddersfield Oktoberfest 2012, then please come along.

Huddersfield Mild Crawl on Monday 14th May

As May is Mild Month, on Mon 14th May we will be doing a Huddersfield Mild crawl. We will start at 7:30pm at the Slubbers Arms, Hillhouse, HD1 6HW (map). We will then move on to the Sportsman, Huddersfield, HD1 5AY (map), to arrive at 8:15pm . And onwards after that, as the mood takes us.

Mild Club of the Year 2011 Presentation & an Independent Brewery crawl around Huddersfield

On Friday 1st July 2011 at 8pm,  we will be making the Mild Club of the Year 2011 Presentation to Marsh Liberal Club, Marsh, Huddersfield, HD3 4AL (map).

This coincides with the first day of their two day Beer Festival.

Catch the 19:46 372 First Bus from Westgate, Huddersfield.

 

On Monday 4th July 2011 at 7:30pm, we will be having a crawl around Huddersfield town centre to see how many independent brewery beers we can manage.

We will meet Slubbers Arms, Hillhouse, HD1 6HW (map) at 7:30pm. Then we will move on to the Sportsman, Kings Head, Cherry Tree & finish at Grove approx 10pm.

Also, on Saturday & Sunday this weekend it is the Monkeyfest 5 Beer Festival at Armitage Bridge Monkey Club, Dean Brook Road, Armitage Bridge, HD4 7PB (map).

Branch Meeting at Slubbers Arms & Mild Crawl

On Monday 23rd May 2011 at 8pm, we will be holding our next Branch Meeting at the Slubbers Arms, Hillhouse, HD1 6HW (map). The Slubbers is now being run by CAMRA member Bill Brogan as a free house, and offers a range of guest & Taylor’s beers. Catch the 19:25 363 First bus from Huddersfield Bus Station.

On Wednesday 25th May 2011 at 7:30pm we will be having a Mild Crawl around Huddersfield Town Centre. We will meet at the Star, Folly Hall, Huddersfield, HD1 3PJ (map),  and then move on to the Rat & Ratchet, Grove, Sportsman & Kings Head. How many milds can we find?
