Yeaton Cask Official Opening event has been cancelled
Unfortunately, we have been informed that the Official Opening event at the Yeaton Cask today has been cancelled, due to a family illness.

Apologies. The bus times previously stated were incorrect. You can either catch the 14:25 262 Arriva bus from Huddersfield bus station, or catch the 14:30 371 First bus from Westgate, Huddersfield
Two socials and a beer festival
On Sun 6th Jun at 3pm, there will be a Branch Social going to the official opening of the Yeaton Cask, Kirkheaton, HD5 0HW (map). Formerly The Junction, the pub has reopened as a real ale house with good reviews. Catch the 13:25 262 Arriva bus from Huddersfield bus station.
On Mon 7th Jun at 8pm, there will be Social at Rose & Crown, Thurstonland, HD4 6XU (map). Hopefully the usual range of Brass Monkey & guest beers will be available. Catch the 19:55 341 (Huddersfield Bus Company) from Huddersfield Bus Station. The return journey involves walking back down into Brockholes and catching bus from there.
The 2nd World Sup Beer Festival at the West Riding, Dewsbury, WF13 1HF (map) has already started. It runs from Thu 3rd – Sun 6th Jun. More details here.
