The Star Beer Festival started on Wed 15th July 2009 and runs through until Sunday 19th July with 75 rare & exotic beers available over the 5 days.
Jubilee Refreshment Rooms in Sowerby Bridge
Slightly outside our area, but the long awaited Jubilee Refreshment Rooms has opened at Sowerby Bridge station. Andrew & Chris Wright have spent a long time sympathetically renovating the listed building, and it is now open and offers 6 handpumped cask beers.
