Star Beer Festival
The Star at Folly Hall, Huddersfield, HD1 3PJ (map) is holding another of its keenly anticipated Beer Festivals. Beers from both near & far & wide will be available both on the bar & in the marquee from Wed 18th to Sun 22nd November.
Branch AGM at Rat & Ratchet on Monday 16th November
The Branch will be holding its AGM at the Rat & Ratchet, Huddersfield, HD1 3EB (map) at 8pm on Monday 16th November 2009.

Marsh House Reopens
The Marsh House, Marsh (map) has reopened today. The internal layout is unchanged, but they now have 6 handpumps currently serving 5 beers, from Ossett, Cottage, Copper Dragon & George Wright breweries. Apparently the pub is free from tie, so expect a changing range of beers to be on offer.
Two Local Beer Festivals
Colne Valley Lions will be holding their annual Slaithwaite Moonraker Beer Festival at Slaithwaite Conservative Club, HD7 5HF (map). The festival starts on Thu 12th Nov and runs until Sat 14th Nov.
The New Charnwood at Heckmondwike, WF16 0EH (map) will be holding their first beer festival, between Fri 13th Nov and Sun 15th Nov.
Mallinson’s Brewery Trip on Monday 9th November
The Branch will be having a trip around Mallinson’s Brewery, Plover Road, Lindley, Huddersfield, HD3 3PJ (map). It will start at 7:30pm on Monday 9th November.
