Mild Club of the Year 2011 Presentation & an Independent Brewery crawl around Huddersfield

On Friday 1st July 2011 at 8pm,  we will be making the Mild Club of the Year 2011 Presentation to Marsh Liberal Club, Marsh, Huddersfield, HD3 4AL (map).

This coincides with the first day of their two day Beer Festival.

Catch the 19:46 372 First Bus from Westgate, Huddersfield.

 

On Monday 4th July 2011 at 7:30pm, we will be having a crawl around Huddersfield town centre to see how many independent brewery beers we can manage.

We will meet Slubbers Arms, Hillhouse, HD1 6HW (map) at 7:30pm. Then we will move on to the Sportsman, Kings Head, Cherry Tree & finish at Grove approx 10pm.

Also, on Saturday & Sunday this weekend it is the Monkeyfest 5 Beer Festival at Armitage Bridge Monkey Club, Dean Brook Road, Armitage Bridge, HD4 7PB (map).

Pub of the Year (Joint Award) & Cider Pub of the Year Presentations to the Rat & Ratchet, Huddersfield

We will be making the Pub of the Year Presentation (Joint Award) and Cider Pub of the Year Presentation to the Rat & Ratchet, Chapel Hill, Huddersfield, HD1 3EB (map) at 8pm on Saturday 30th April 2011.

Coincidentally, the  Rat’s Annual Mild & Cider Festival is currently in full swing and runs until Sunday.

Winter Pub of the Season Presentation at the Yeaton Cask, Kirkheaton

The Winter Pub of the Season Presentation will be at the Yeaton Cask, 4 Town Road, Kirkheaton, HD5 0HW (map) at 8pm (or thereabouts) on Monday 7th Mar 2011.

Catch the 20:00 262 Arriva bus from Huddersfield Bus Station.

There is no bus available to return. We will share taxis to get back to Huddersfield.

Also, please note that the next Branch Meeting on Monday 21st March has had to be moved from the Tunnel End to Marsden Conservative Club.
