I have been asked to remind CAMRA Members that Champion Beer of Britain Voting is still open, but for our Region it it will close soon at the end of January.
Voting can be done online at www.cbobvoting.org.uk – you will need you CAMRA membership number and password for the CAMRA HQ site to log in.
Don’t miss the deadline.

The voting meeting for the Good Beer Guide 2013 will take place at the Rat & Ratchet, Huddersfield at 8pm on Monday 6th Feb 2012. All Branch Members are welcome to attend, participate in the discussion and vote.
If you are a Branch Member and cannot attend, and you wish to submit an online vote, then according to Branch rules you must submit your votes for the Good Beer Guide 2013 before midnight on Monday 30th January 2012, using the online form in the Members’ Area.
Only registered members can access the Members’ Area. Details of how to register are here.

We will be holding the first Beer Festival Sub Committee Meeting at the Rat & Ratchet, Chapel Hill, Huddersfield, HD1 3EB (map) at 8pm on Thursday 26th January 2012.
If you would like to get involved with the organisation of Huddersfield Oktoberfest 2012, then please come along.

We had listed a beer festival at the Field Head, Quarmby for 3-4th Feb on the Diary page. This has been postponed until March, date tbc.
Finally, the Junction at Marsh, HD1 4LA (map) has reopened, after being closed for several months, and is once again offering a range of real ale.
